vacation: chapel hill

visited my sister for a few days.  we were headed to the beach...but spent a couple days in her new town of Chapel Hill/ Durham first.  we did our nails with a summery beach theme in mind.

did a lot of shopping.  finally got my yellow polka dotted jeans by current elliot.

 

lunch at a local mexican spot.  irene had chicken in a mole sauce.

 

mexican is never very pretty.

 

Chapel Hill has lots of great grocery stores, so we hit up Whole Foods and Trader Joe's

and made a seafood feast in preparation for our seafood week at the beach!  I made a huge

bag of mussels with crusty bread with some white wine she had laying around.  Followed by

shrimp, mushroom, and spinach angel hair.
