Las Vegas: the Hard Rock Hotel
this was probably one of my favorite hotels... a lot of cheesy wannabe rockers staying here, but a
fun vibe with a kitschy 60s throwback aesthetic. matt is chillin' in our living room of our suite.
lots of rock memorabilia
our big, squishy bed
the view
the gorgeous view
Las Vegas: Day 2
the second day of our Vegas trip we checked into the Artisan Hotel. I love a little spooky....a little quirk. Matt however, was having none of it. he wasn't amused one bit. and it was a ways off the strip which we weren't very happy with too...
pretending not to be annoyed
paintings and chandeliers everywhere...reminded me of the hotel we stayed at in Charleston
the room ended up being hot and stuffy, and matt was able to sweet talk the front desk into letting
us checkout and get a refund. we moved to the NEW YORK NEW YORK hotel instead for the night. an affordable little room on the strip.
with a hot tub in the room! we are always looking for hot tubs!
the view from the room
Las Vegas: dinner at Comme Ca
on our walk to the famous Comme Ca at the Cosmopolitan for a nice dinner out
the BEST little hand rolled baguettes and homemade butter
a gorgeous roasted beet salad.....absolutely delicious!!!
steak tartare with pickled vegetables

Las Vegas: the Bellagio Fountain
we were lucky enough to catch the Bellagio fountain show....the song was "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and it was spectacular to watch.
Las Vegas: shopping
Las Vegas is known for high rollers and high-end shopping. This shopping area near Caesar's Palace is amazing........Gucci, Fendi, Tom Ford, Louis Vuitton, they've got it all!
